A female student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK), Anambra State, Francisca Chioma, who was abducted by kidnappers last week has regained freedom five days after an undisclosed amount of ransom was paid. Chioma’s release was made known by the Chief Security Officer of the university, Ken Chukwurah, on Thursday. SaharaReporters had reported that students of the institution had called for donations to enable them raise the sum of N2 million ransom for Chioma’s release.
Some students of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, have called for donations for the ransom placed on their friend and schoolmate, Miss Francisca Chioma, who was reportedly kidnapped on her way to attend a burial.
