Eager to show they are hearing parents’ concerns, board members said the moves to loosen current practices would give parents and children some relief and set the stage for discussions about what the mask rules should be for the next school year.
“It’s a positive communication that we are listening, and I think it’s the first step,” board member Karen Brill said.
