Good evening, todays updates since our last report, florida has seen 24 new positive cases bringing the state total to 216. 196 our florida residents, 20 nonflorida residents, and there are 1042 test results outstanding. We will announce a number of things related to education for the remaining from this school year on, all remaining testing or School Readiness and k12 will be canceled for the school year. Requirements for graduation and final course grades will be evaluated as those assessments did not exist. Parents may keep their child in the same grade for the 2021 school year. K12 grades will not be calculated or 20192020 and schools may continue their current status next year to avoid disruption. The commissioner may reduce required k12 instructional hours to accommodate for closures as we have seen.
