School will be starting later for many california le and High Schoolers in the coming years. Governor newsom signing a new law requiring public middle schools to not start before 8 00 in the morning and high schools not start before 8 30 a. M. That does not include zero periods. The governor said the science shows teenage students who start their day later increase academic performance, attendance and overall health. I think its good to start after that so they can focus well in the schools. I think its a really good change.
