Home from schooljust relaxing with a chickens and that has really calmed her down. that has been a quite strong theme and i think in general children are suffering with anxiety more than ever before, so i think that has come through. but really, i think it is just children wanting to shine a light on what is happening where they live. so cost of living crisis has definitely been one of the themes this year. but then we get many other stories as well, children talking about struggling with gaming addiction, we heard from a lad called theo who was talking about a blue lights that are emitted from gadgets and computers and how that affects his sleep. loads of stories that you just wouldn t hear anywhere else and it is brilliant that we are able to give these kids a platform to tell them. it s about raising awareness, raising those issues, but also, like you say, giving the platform, that voice and that sense of empowerment, isn t it? ricky, before i let you go, what would be your message

Working, you know, in a reasonably good job in terms of pay and yet still really struggle with the basics. and i think that is something that quite a lot of us can relate to. the breakfast club is going to expand too, with the help of business donations, giving more children a good start to the school day. for eight year old alishah, who spoke to us, free school meals until she leaves primary school. it s been an emotional few days for her and dad ali. expenses going up, right, so that s why it s very hard to manage the house expenses like these. you know, the bills, everything is very, very expensive. it s nice, schooljust to give them something to kids, notjust my kids but every kid.
