I didnt want to give up the dream of being part of the literary culture and one quick way to do that was to get into the book business. I loved bookstores when i was a kid. A sixth grader at McKinley Elementary, within the Davenport Community School District, was recognized for their leadership and commitment to safety by being named the Safety Patroller of the Year for the state of Iowa by AAA.
