The frigid cold caused several water main breaks on tuesday. The break on the road in bethesda turned the street into a virtual ice rink. That bitter blast were feeling could keep kids in fairfax waiting on their ride to school today. On tuesday some oe because of the cold weather and hundreds of students were forced to wait in the cold for nearly an hour. We are looking at snow moving through most of the region. Snow changing over from rain in philadelphia right now. Storm tracker6 live double scan shows it to you every time we look at this radar that snow line is pushed farther to the east and now its past philadelphia. What were seeing in the city is very light and were only expecting about a coating maybe a couple spots up and down i95 get up to an inch. Northern suburbs have filed piled up a little bit more. Only snow amounts is from North Catasauqua to the north of allentown and youre at about 1. 9inches as of 3 30 and probably more than that now. Snow starting to lessen a little bit but definitely impacting the early part of the morning commute and probably not totally getting out of here until between about 8 oclock and 9 oclock this morning. 34 degrees right now in philadelphia. Here. As we take a look at the weather sent you have cloud cover out there obviously and you can see the movement of that snow overnight and now its pushing right into philadelphia. It was raining here for awhile but weve seen that change over to snow and storm tracker6 live double scan gives you an even better look at that. You can see that the dry slots that karen mentioned are beginning to push in and be a little bit of a issue or well a nonissue if you will up in northern Montgomery County northern bucks county now has transitioned to that break in the snow but we still have north and west some brighter banding there which is one last little pop of heavier snow that will probably pop through allentown and reading before too much longer. Ill go in closer there and these are the areas where youve gotten most of the snow overnight. Theres probably at least a couple of inches on the ground in most of these areas. The only repor ....
