Locals honour those who have died on the job

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A small ceremony was held at the Medicine Hat Memorial Arboretum on Scholten Hill today. Locals came to honour the National Day of Mourning. A yearly day dedicated to honouring and paying respects to those who have lost their lives, been injured, or became ill due to work-related incidents. Members of the Regional Safety Committee gathered for a moment of silence. John Digman from the Medicine Hat Construction Association says it is important to remember those we have lost.
