The chp says an officer was driving north on highway 1 when he hit a 74yearold man from burling game outside sams chowder house. A restaurant worker and bystanders tell abc 7 news, the victim was attending a wedding reception there. He died at the scene. So far chp has not identified the man or the officer. Some stories have thousands of comments. Abusive behavior and profanity and such we try to flag and get rid of those. But it is a tough question; these comments. Do they affect our editorial decisions . Absolutely not. This is one thing i would totally disagree with you on good. I think the newspaper has the responsibility to take the racist comments off and has every ability to do that. You know, if they dont have enough people to do it, then hire some more people or dont run any comments. I think i would agree with that.
