Haitian opposition prepares transitional government
Port-au-Prince, Jan 25 (Prensa Latina) Several opposition groups in Haiti are currently working on the formation of a transitional government, insisting that the constitutional mandate of President Jovenel Moïse ends on February 7th.
This alliance, in which the Directorate of the Democratic Opposition and the Pitit Dessalines party stand out, among others, is convinced that popular movements will force the departure of the head of state and is calling on supporters to stall the country.
Schiller Louidor, of the Fanmi Lavalas party, demanded barricades in all districts of the capital and in the departments in order to paralyze the country once again, a phenomenon that was evidenced in 2019 in the heat of anti-government protests.
