Scharmel Roussel, executive director of the Arkansas Interfaith Power and Light program as well as an environmentalist and animal lover, received the Peace Activist of the Year award Saturday from the Arkansas Coalition for Peace and Justice during the group s annual meeting in Little Rock.
The Arkansas Coalition for Peace and Justices annual membership meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. on February 10th at Unitarian Universalist Church, 1818 Reservoir Road, in Little Rock.
Complaint: Mask rule not being enforced at Capitol

It will not be a surprise to hear that people who go to the Capitol for the legislative session include tribalists who refuse to wear face coverings. People with greater concern for their health and that of others aren’t happy about it.

We have a couple of concerns we ask your help to address. Please increase enforcement of the mask mandate, and allow virtual testimony for members of the public.
