Three people killed in car crash, fire in southwest Fort Collins

At approximately 2:27 a.m. Thursday, a Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputy located a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta on fire in the middle of the road in the 5800 block of South Taft Hill Road, according to a release from the Fort Collins Police Services. The deputy was able to see there were two people who appeared to be dead inside the vehicle, the release added.

Larimer County Coroner identifies people killed in 2 separate Fort Collins car crashes

The office identified 18-year-old Zoe Smith of Fort Collins as the woman killed in a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Harmony Road and Lemay Avenue Oct. 14 and 29-year-old Elijah Wolfe of Fort Collins as the pedestrian who was hit and killed in the 4600 block of South College Avenue Oct. 18.
