A group of migrants staying at the Super 8 motel in Rotterdam were ordered to leave Wednesday due to fire-safety concerns.
Individuals staying at the motel were seen outside the Carman Road facility with suitcases and other, which were loaded onto a bus, according to CBS 6 news, which first reported the story.
Staffing shortages led some members of the Rotterdam Police Department to earn tens of thousands in overtime pay last year — a trend many local departments have experienced in recent years.
