Marvel Comics have announced “Demon Days: X-Men,” the first in a five-part series written and illustrated by Japanese artist Peach Momoko. The series, which begins in March, will reimagine the Marvel Universe in a supernatural version of Feudal Japan, dubbed the “Momoko-verse.”
The first issue will star Psylocke, portrayed here as “a wandering swordswoman with a psychic blade, [who] arrives at village thatâs being targeted by demons.” One demon is described as resembling Venom, being “black and white with a terrifying red tongue,” while another is called possibly “the strongest demon there is,”
à la Hulk.
