That speaks for itself. ivanka trump, the head of ivanka trump s business says that there is currently not possible to make her product here in the united states. so what is the white house or the administration policy for companies like that to say there s just no way to do it. how do they make their products here in america? well, i can t answer that question. in the sense that i m not i can tell you, that it depends on the product. there are certain things that certain industries that we don t do as much any more and certain things we do do more much there s a certain thing that, certain aspect of technology and labor. but as i mentioned in terms of scaleability, there are certain things that we may not have the capacity to do here, having a plant or factory that can do it. the beautiful thing about a capitalistic society if there s enough of a demand for it, it will happen. that s what the president is ....
Trying to do. if you lower the tax rate, if you lower the regulatory burden, you know, you will hopefully grow businesses and grow manufacturing. i ve talked to several ceos and business leaders in the past couple of weeks about tax reform. it is amazing how many of them tell that you they pay the 35% rate and you say to them, what will you do if that rate drops. and the number one thing they talk about is they re going to invest and build more in their company. this is what we need to do. some liens, some industries, some products, some lines may not have the scaleability or the demand in this country. but like so many on other things, if that demand, enough of a demand, hopefully some one builds a factory and does it. we ve seen that, in industries, where you saw the decline of newspapers and you ve seen a lot more online content and online publications. the evolution sometimes of industry. put i m sure around the world ....
Cannot freak out about every single donald trump tweet. many people have tried that. it s exhausting. i think he s going to be different. there s a part that i think is genuinely dangerous. this is what got him here. and the overreaction to so much of it does, all the sound and fury gives republicans the room to do what they like to do while everyone is focusing on something else. that s what happened with these senate races with rob portman and others, i m going to be the regular guy over here while all this noise is happening. i think that s sort of the weird magic like donald trump for some of this. there s a thing about scaleability, i think, with trump and one is he s had a big megaphone, but he s about to get a bigger one in the oval office as president. and the other thing is, during the campaign a lot of times he would punch down, you know, he would make fun of rand paul at the end of the stage, you know, ....
Crowded space. to the customer, the product isn t going to change. it s still from small family farms, the same size flocks, nothing in terms of how we raise the chickens changes, and i think that s the beauty of the model that we ve developed in terms of scaleability. we ll tell you how these entrepreneurs have ruffled some feathers and why retailers have put them high on the pecking order. til then, i m j.j. ramberg, and remember, we make your business our business. our cosmetics line was a hit. the orders were rushing in. i could feel our deadlines racing towards us. we didn t need a loan. we needed short-term funding fast. building 18 homes in 4 ½ months? that was a leap. but i knew i could rely on american express to help me buy those building materials. ....
you re on this show shark tank, and when you are entertaining you know an idea about investing in an entrepreneur or an inventor one of the things you said you re looking for is you said you want to see if they can connect with the panel. but what if the product is not so great but you really do like that pitch, you like that person. at what point do you say i want to invest in this person not necessarily because of the idea but because i think they have potential? is that part of the equation? well that happens. you know what happens? first of all, we invest in people, we don t invest in businesses at all. you re not going to reinvent the wheel. you re never going create anything new in the world, you re going to create a new form of delivery. but if you like the person then you feel the business is shaky but that s why i m here to hopefully help the business. then the scaleability in the business i ll invest in the business. but if the business fails, that person and i may be s ....
