Those who want to earn marginally higher interest rates on their fixed deposits, at times, lock them in the name of their old parents since banks offer generally 50 basis points higher interest rate to senior citizens.
The AIIMS Smart Card will be the only way to make payments for all investigations and procedures other than electronic payments via UPI, debit cards, credit cards, etc, the AIIMS said. In the order, its Director Dr M Srinivas referred to an office memorandum issued on November 17, 2022, advising that AIIMS Smart Card facility for patients and attendants be started with effect from April 15, 2023 in collaboration with SBI Bank.
The category has offered around 17.25% and 17.68% in one year and year-to-date horizons respectively. Out of 14 schemes that have completed one year in the market, three schemes have offered more than 20%.
