Safest place to be is the ditch because the tornado can t suck you out of the ditch instead of being in the wide open. it is such power. it was so interesting. i have been listening to them all day, watching the local feed from kfor in oklahoma city. to see them out of the car, report back what it was like to be in it, it really is incredible. they did such an amazing job and to stay safe this whole time was in credible, too. hard to believe a car that size could be a projectile. when you look at this video, you begin to understand how powerful the storms are when you are among them. it was really eery hearing him describe how it is like a hand reached out and grabbed the car, like a sucking feeling he felt that he was going to be sucked into the storm. it shows you the chaos that is on the streets with people doing violent u-turns, realizing they re in trouble, trying to get out of the way, cover the storm at the same time, you understand how dangerous this ....
