CBRE, a global real estate consultancy firm, has announced the appointment of Scott Cameron as the new head of its residential valuation team in the Middle East based in Dubai, following further expansion of its advisory operation in the region.
Real estate advisor Savills has made two key appointments to lead its property and facilities management functions in Saudi Arabia. Laszlo Fulop joins the group as Head of Property Management, while Benjamin Blackaby will take over as the Saudi FM head.
The industrial and warehousing sector in Dubai remains buoyant with strong demand levels and steady leasing activity by various sectors, said a top real estate expert. Oil and gas sector led demand followed by e-commerce and contract logistics, it added.
Dubai’s office sector has remained resilient over the first half of 2022, aided mainly by the continued demand for Grade A office space which has also led to a sharp drop in vacancy levels for this segment.
Occupier demand has been strong on the back of a buoyant local economy where companies are crystallising their expansion plans, and amid an influx of senior executiv.
