Mumbai Animal Association (MAA) have lodged an FIR against unknown persons at Dahisar police station.
A local animal feeder, Priya M, had noticed the torso of the dead pup behind Samaj Kalyan hall road, near Jari Mari gardens, Anand Nagar, Dahisar (east). A sharp weapon like a knife has been used in this crime. FIR was lodged on Sunday, said Saurabh Edwankar of MAA.
The local animal welfare worker, Priya, said: We work day and night taking care of the local community animals, and also feeding them out of compassion. Hence, it feels sickening to see that someone can actually behead a mute puppy. ....
