A Massachusetts native has kept his school s streak in the NFL draft alive by being selected in the seventh and final round.Larnel Coleman, of Malden, was selected with the 231st overall pick by the Miami Dolphins on Saturday.Coleman, who is 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, played offensive tackle for UMass Amherst and was a three-year starter along the line. He also played in all 12 games, including one start, as a redshirt freshman in 2017.He started all 12 games at right tackle in 2018 and made another 12 starts at left tackle in 2019.In 2020, Coleman was the starting left tackle in all four games during a short season that was heavily dictated by the COVID-19 pandemic.With Coleman getting drafted, UMass has now had a player selected in each of the past three NFL drafts.
