Dimapur, Nov. 13 (EMN): Underlining the important roles of NGOs and civil societies, the former NPF candidate from 36 Satakha assembly constituency, Zheito Chophy called upon the public of Satakha and Satoi area to uphold the value of integrity and serve for the common benefit of the people. Zheito Chophy stated this during the closing ceremony of U-13 Satakha Area Sports and Cultural Association as the special guest on November 12 at Satakha public ground. He stated that civil society platforms should not be used as political tool or for religious inclination, which might mislead the common people. Chophy stated that when a leader utilise community platforms for other purposes, it would ultimately be a threat to common people. He, therefore, encouraged Satakha Area Sports and Cultural Association to uphold the value and principle of its organisation and continue to work for the benefits of common people.
