the officer made a mistake. besides these are park police and he lives in howard county, not montgomery county. reporter: just another black face. he viewed this as an incident of racial profiling. the county executive did not file a formal written complaint. this matter is considered closed and leggitt says it s a humiliation that many others endure and it s a humiliation that he will not forget. prince george attorney said she too was the victim of profiling and verbal police abuse as a teenager, she called it degrading and humiliating. the maryland attorney general unveiled the statewide standards and guidelines for all police agencies to follow. police profiling hurts police as much as others. it turns attention away from real criminal conduct. it can make police work less safe and more confrontational. the attorney general s office plans to offer training to police leaders statewide and track profiling incidents which are illegal. we re following breaking news
