The proposed law would create a commission to regulate the use of plant-based psychedelic substances like psilocybin mushrooms. People 21 years and older would be able to legally consume psychedelics at a licensed therapy center.
When we first heard about a Republican and Democratic state legislators’ testimony in support of this alternative therapeutic, we surmised that it would likely hit medicine’s mainstream at some point.
