The KZN Sharks Board did a flight observation of the silverfish in the Eastern Cape on Wednesday.
This flight was fairly eventful with some decent size shoals of sardines sighted between Mngazana Mouth and The Kraal, which is just south of Brazen Head. These shoals were just behind the backline, moving slowly north.
He says thousands of cape gannets and dolphins were also sighted in that area - while humpback whales and other animals were spotted moving in a northerly direction between the Xhora Mouth and the Dwesa Reserve.
