They wouldnt tell me anything. Reporter as a deputy and a sergeant went inside the home, they found a man having what appeared to be a mental break down. They tried to came him down according to the sheriff to no avail. Both members of the Hernando County Sheriffs Office have gone through crisis intervention training but in this case, the team had to use lethal force and shoot the man who later died. You know, they had this training and obviously, in this case, it wasnt success. As hard as you try, you cant be successful every time when you are dealing with humans in crisis.
