will be windy and a lot warmer kids at two dallas county schools spent much of the day today under lockdown. all because of a threatening call from a parent. school officials say the collins-maxwell high school and middle school were put on lockdown after the call was made this morning. ortan haywood allegedly made threats to several staff members. the lockdown was lifted this afternoon. after haywood was arrested by police on a warrant out of texas. additional charges will likely be filed. nearly six months later . west des moines police have finally made an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run case . early in the morning of august 23rd of last year, daulton holly was hit andd killed while walking along raccoon river drive when he was and killed. after months of forensic testing police positively identified the vehicle that hit him . and now have arrested the driver of that yesterday 37-year old ronald hauser of van meter surrounded to police. he is charged with leaving the ....
