Time count, 5 of people experiencing homelessness are transgender and 1 are gender queer nonbinary, and this is a survey response of 1,000 individuals which is conducted in conjunction with the better known visual count portion of the point in time count. While less than 1 of the general population in San Francisco experiences homelessness, a Needs Assessment conducted by the Horizons Foundation found that 15 of transgender and gender nonconforming san franciscans had been homeless in the past year. The point in time count also provides us Additional Data about the particular health and Mental Health vulnerability of the Lgbt Community which we address in our report.
