DHEC offers COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Ridgeland

Bobbie Baker walked to his car Thursday afternoon at the Jasper County Health Department in Ridgeland, happy to have gotten his first COVID-19 vaccine shot.
I feel relieved like crazy, but I am not going wild or anything, still being careful, Baker said. I feel a whole lot better than I did before I got it.
Baker, 75, of Gillisonville, said he took a short, 10-minute drive to receive the shot. He was one of about 150 people who got appointments at the first of two Moderna vaccine clinics offered by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. ....
