Mercy Health will sell its 29-acre General Campus, including the Muskegon General Hospital, 1700 Oak Ave., as part of its plan to consolidate to the Mercy Health Muskegon Mercy Campus, 1500 E. Sherman Blvd. in Muskegon.

MUSKEGON, MI – The demolition of the six-story former Muskegon General Hospital building is expected to begin this summer.
The 29-acre campus, located at 1700 Oak Ave., was sold by Mercy Health to Phoenix Reclamation LLC in February, according to the Muskegon County Register of Deeds.
The property had been for sale since 2018 after Mercy Health vacated the site and consolidated its services to the Mercy Health Muskegon tower at 1500 Sherman Blvd. ....
