Bangkok Mass Transit System Plc (BTSC), as the operator of the BTS skytrain, is seeking to secure an Administrative Court order to get City Hall to pay its overdue debt worth around 30 billion baht, its CEO Surapong Laoha-unya said on Monday.
Mr Surapong said the BTSC had written to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and its investment arm, Krungthep Thanakom Co, at the beginning of the year to seek a debt settlement.
In total, BTSC is seeking to recover 9.6 billion baht for operating the Green Line extension for more than three years and 20.7 billion baht for the purchase of train operating systems along the extended route. ....
