At 10:30 a.m., Julian Moore was dispatched to the 1000 block of Briarcrest Drive in New Ulm in reference to animal cruelty (livestock). After further investigation, the animals were seized with a warrant and examined by a veterinarian. The case will be forwarded to the Colorado COunty Attorney’s Office for criminal charges.
At 11:42 a.m., Holly Smith was dispatched to the Columbus Community Hospital in reference to an assault. It determined a report would be taken for information only. Case cleared.
At 4 p.m., Julian Moore initiated a traffic stop on Walnut at Prairie in Columbus. After further investigation, Debra Hibbard, 50 of Yoakum, was arrested for a warrant out of Dewitt County. Case cleared by arrest. ....
