The governor says that at this time last year there were 4200 California Wildfires they burned 56,000 acres. So far this year more than 7,000 fires have burned one 0. 4 million acres and most of that within just the last week. The largest fires in the state are burning here in the bay area will begin with the scu lightning complex system that is burning in Santa Clara Alameda contra costa and san joaquin counties.
