The suspects have been identified as Rishikesh Bodre (21), Deepak Bhandalkar (23), Abhijit Jadhav (20), Shankar Aadke (19), Sanket Mane (19) and Omkar Shirtode (19). The young men from middle-class families in Phaltan are college dropouts. With no source of income during the lockdown months they turned to robbing citizens in Bopdev Ghat.
