Naperville residents have a love and hate relationship with the cold, snow

Feb. 17 The five inches of snow dumped on Naperville between Valentine s Day and early Tuesday morning seemed but a distant memory by midday Tuesday, when the sun came out and temperatures approached 20 degrees.
What started off as one of the mildest winter seasons on record turned on a dime right before the calendar flipped to February. Since then, the Chicago area has endured a double-barrel stretch of snowstorms and bone-chilling temperatures that have tested the hardiest Midwesterner.
But even the rugged have a breaking point, some Naperville residents noted on Facebook when asked for their opinion of this winter s weather. ....
