Douglas County school board President Christy Williams on Tuesday selected Timothy Moore, a former sheriff’s deputy who was disciplined for political campaigning, to fill a vacant seat on the Board of Education.
The Douglas County school board remained deadlocked on who to appoint to fill a vacant seat after three rounds of voting Tuesday, placing the decision in President Christy Williams's hands.
Timothy Moore, Sandra Lyle Brownrigg and Natalie Wong are finalists to fill the vacant seat previously held by former Douglas County school board President Mike Peterson.
