PIERS Corbyn - the brother of former Labour leader Jeremy - led a demonstration in Oxford city centre today against the tough new coronavirus restrictions.
Brandishing a megaphone, he joined protesters in Bonn Square to rail against the new Tier 4 restrictions which have been imposed across the South east, including neighbouring Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
Other speakers booked for the so-called Oxford 4 Freedom demo included Geza Tarjanyi and Sandi Adams.
The demonstration was held as news came that the tough new coronavirus controls will have to remain for “some time”.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock admitted that a mutant new strain of the disease was “out of control”. ....
