six of the weapons were found at the college where he opened fire along with body armor and ammunition. investigators discovered 7 more weapons when they searched through his apartment. according to authorities all the weapons had been legally purchased either by the shooter himself or by family members. the officials are still not providing though a motive for this shooting. nine people were killed and another nine others seriously injured in the attack. mercer was killed after a shoot shootout with police. although it s unclear whether he was killed by officers or took his own life it, was only the fourth day of class at the small community college which is loaded about three hours south of portland. students say they heard gun shots and knew that they needed to get out fast. this latest school massacre once again renewing the call for gun control in this country. anchor: this is a political choice we make to allow this to happen every few months in america. have to come
