Emergency another protest, Kaiser Mental Health workers across the bay area and state launching a 5day strike today. They are protesting understaffing, crushing case loads, and patient appointments that often arent available for months, they say. Kaiser Officials Say theyre urging members of the nuhw to end the strike and review the proposal theyve created. This is the 6th strike the union has called in 12 months time. And an amber alert canceled after the child was found. The boyfriend of the mother allegedly stabbed her and kidnapped the child. They were found at a gas station in cambria. I am veronica de la cruz. Victor magana allegedly stabbed his girlfriend and killed their daughter. He and his child were found this morning in cambria along the Central Coast some 200 miles away. Cell phone video shows deputies taking him into custody. Good samaritans detained him and deputies say he locked his keys and his daughter inside. He was trying to break the window with a rock. My heart was just pounding. It was unbelievable. He hit the window twice trying to break to get in and finally, a guy bear hugged him from behind. I took the rockaway. This was a scene in san jose as witnesses called police after hearing a woman screaming. Shes in critical condition. Child protective services working to reunite the girl with family.
