A nationwide sex-trafficking crackdown led by the FBI's San Diego field office has resulted in four arrests and interventions on behalf of more than a dozen victims, including two minors, the federal agency announced Tuesday.
The documentary screening was part of a three-hour evening event hosted by the San Diego law enforcement in hopes of educating the community about the growing threat of online sexual extortion of minors.
Nowlin George Ewaliko, who is twenty years old and a former football player at San Diego State University, was named in the civil claim that the victim filed in August of 2022.
