Celebrate a day of arts and cultural diversity in City Heights, a vibrant San Diego community. This is a free, family-family event packed with talents and delights in the forms of Fern Street Circus, the Chanh Kien Lion Dancers, interactive drumming and parade with Drummers Without Borders, maskmaking with San Diego Guild of Puppetry, hatmaking with the Mad Hatter, face painting, the San Diego Ballet, Tap in with Claudia Gomez, and Rick and Friends, musicians, a Vietnamese youth dance group, and African drumming. The stage is hopping from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Jackie, from Agenda San Diego will emcee.There will be seven food trucks, and booths offering information on services from the community, and more.
“Uncommon Clay” showcases remarkable handmade ceramics in original styles by San Diego Guild potters for use, display and enjoyment. There’ll be pots for the home, planters for the garden, mugs for the workplace, platters, vases, sculptures and as gifts.On display Nov. 12 – Nov. 30, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving) at Studio 29 in Spanish Village Art Center, Balboa Park.Free admission.
