Alfred Charles Sharpton Jr. He is an American civil rights activist, Baptist minister, television/radio talk show host and a former White House adviser. In 2004, he was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. presidential election. He was born October 3, 1954 in the Brownsville neighborhood of brooklyn, New York City. What Al does better than anyone else is, he gives a voice to the voiceless. Hes Outspoken and sometimes controversial, he has become a leading figure in the fight against racial prejudice and injustice.
