(KUTV) â Two Utah State Prison inmates are being accused of locking officers in a cell then setting a fire outside while drunk, according to a probable cause statement from the 3rd District Court of Salt Lake City. Samuela Lomu, 29, and Taniela Salakielu, 24, are facing charges of aggravated kidnapping and riot, with Lomu facing an additional charge of damaging a jail. Back in November, an officer with the Utah Department of Corrections was walking around the Baker Block at the prison when he noticed a strong alcoholic odor coming from a cell. The cell, belonging to Lomu and Salakielu, was searched, according to the probable cause statements. ....
