A woman who was killed in a Friday biking accident in Monroe Township has been identified as Edith Rob, a retired Army officer and current South Middleton Township school board member who friends said had touched many lives in the Boiling Springs community. Rob, 61, died of injuries received on Friday, when she and her husband, Samuel, were struck at 11:29 a.m. by an SUV while riding along Leidigh Drive in neighboring Monroe Township, in Cumberland County. Samuel Rob was taken from the scene to Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center for treatment. He has since been discharged. ....
