COVID-19: Justice Binta Nyako tests positive Published Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court (FHC), Abuja, has tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus disease. Justice Nyako had on Jan. 28, attended the valedictory court session held at the Ukeje Hall in honour of Late Justice Ibrahim Watila who passed away after a brief illness last weekend before her test results came out positive. NAN reports that a source in the court told newsmen that the judge tested positive for the virus after undergoing a routine check. According to the source, the Justice had also gone into isolation to receive proper medical care. ....

It would be recalled that in January, President Muhamadu Buhari inaugurated the 18-member Presidential Steering Committee on Alternate School Programme, ASP, co-chaired by the Ministers of Humanitarian Affairs and Education The announcement of the commencement of the programme was made on the official Twitter handle of the President on Wednesday. Buhari said the programme will target delivering a limited scope of subjects – Mathematics, English Language, Basic Sciences and Social Studies to children with limited access. “We have just commenced work on an Alternate School Programme (ASP) as a special education initiative targeting out-of-school children nationwide.
