A hurricane has capsized a tourist boat on Lake Maggiore. One person was killed, several people are missing. The boat was carrying more than twenty tourists and crew members. Italian firefighters said nineteen people had been rescued. Many reportedly managed to swim to shore. The hurricane was part of a storm system that swept across northern Lombardy on Sunday evening and also caused delays at Milan Malpensa Airport. The lake is the second largest lake in Italy and a popular holiday destination in good weather.
