The shooting occurred about 1:20 p.m. Monday in the 4700 block of 167th Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff s Department. Samuel Enriquez of Lawndale died at a hospital, according to the Los Angeles County coroner s office and the sheriff s department. No suspect description was released, and no arrests have been reported, according to the sheriff s department.
