The accused was identified as Harpreet Singh Happle of Firozepur district. Giving details, SSP Khanna, Gursharandeep Singh Grewal said that the cops had begun a special campaign against gangsters and drug traffickers. He added that as part of the campaign, a police party was present at Samrala Chownk Khanna on Friday. They received a tip-off that Aditya Kapoor Makhan of Katra Safed, Amritsar, who is currently lodged in Kapurthala Jail, was using Harpreet as a supplier of illegal weapons. He added that as per the information, Harpreet was bringing illegal weapons from other states to Punjab. he further added that as per tip off, Harpreet was apprehended with heavy quantity of illegal arms and ammunition. ....
