The say the victim has been identified as Sam Flores Wallace, Jr. Detectives say the 43-year-old was found in the parking lot of the apartment complex located in the 800 block of W. Kingsbury St. Officers were initially called out to the Stagecoach Apartments at around 3:40 p.m. Saturday for a suicide. However, detectives say they are now calling the incident “suspicious.” Seguin Police Chief Terry Nichols says while not many details about the case are being released, they do say that “the injuries sustained were lacerations made by a sharp instrument.” ....

On Saturday, January 23, at approximately 3:40 pm, Seguin Police and Seguin Fire/EMS responded to the 800 block W. Kingsbury, the Stagecoach Apartments, for a possible suicide. Upon arrival, officers located a 43 year-old man deceased in a vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
