This is a very telling story. First off, cleanup underway. Its such a mess. I would probable argue in fact im sure this a fact. There are several hundred people in this lovely town and im certain more hail pellet fell and hit vehicles than there are residents in this town. The remarkable thing about this block we are walking down is all of the vehicles minus one are owned by the same family. The murray family. All the vehicles, total of eight sustained some damage. Here is curtis murray. A major hailstorm. I seen nothing like it before. It pounded 15 minutes. Bigger than golf balls. It looked like there was snow on the ground. Thats how much came down. Jay thing you notice all over middleburg is greenery. It seems like this storm just stripped away much of the greenery. Off trees. This is just coated all over town. The other thing i wanted to show you is this is literally a couple of blocks up. Chunks from a power pole ripped off during the storm. Thankfully nothing catastrophic in tow ....
Vail Closing Day Vail Mountain closes for its 58th season on Sunday. Vail Resorts extended the season and several of its resorts after more snow fell in February and March. After not hosting a Closing Day last year due to COVID-19, Vail Mountain will wrap up its 58th season on Sunday. More snowfall in February and March allowed Vail Resorts to extended the season at many of its resorts by a week. Vail’s original closing date was April 11. Beaver Creek was originally set to close on April 4, but closed this past Sunday. Some areas of Vail Mountain have already closed for the season, but there is still plenty of terrain to enjoy.
