Local residents can now visit a new exhibit at the West Hartford Art Leagueâs galleries.
Thursday marked the opening day for a new display â which features 85 pieces of art â as well as the first day of the league requiring appointments for people to come by, according to executive director Roxanne Stachelek.
The new showing is the âmembersâ juried exhibit,â which features work from the leagueâs members that a New Hampshire artist assessed to be included in the exhibit, Stachelek said.
âI think itâs one of our best [shows], and you know, I think itâs nice for people to have a diversion these days and to have a place to go to where they can visit and feel safe, so thatâs what weâre hoping to do,â Stachelek said.
